Friends of the Selby Public Library invites you to their monthly book presentation and discussion. This month: Dr. Ed Dwyer helps us examine the leadership styles of former Presidents, -some of our greatest leaders, - Lincoln, T. Roosevelt, FDR and Lyndon Johnson. He will discuss with us the Doris Kearns Goodwin’s, Leadership in Turbulent Times. Goodwin compares and contrasts these men with regard to their ambition, adversity, growth and leadership. The book’s connections and similarities to today’s times are thought-provoking and chilling. Dr. Dwyer guarantees that you will enjoy yourself, learn a great deal and be inspired!
