Friends of the Selby Public Library invites you to their monthly book presentation and discussion. This month: Phillippe Diederich, prize winning author and engaging presenter, will discuss novel writing and the importance of building characters that capture the reader. “From Scout Finch to Harry Potter and Jason Bourne, we need characters that we can root for. Without that, all is useless.” He will address his writing and revision process and the competition in today’s publishing market. He is the author of Playing for Devil’s Fire, and the Dexter Vega Mysteries.
