Program Description
Friends of the Selby Public Library invites you to their monthly book presentation and discussion. This month: Dr. Irving Kushner, presenter, and Emeritus Professor of Medicine at Case Western Reserve U. of Cleveland will describe and display the rise, fall and rise again of the Marais, the historic neighborhood in Paris. We will be transported to France to see and hear about the past of this now charming Parisienne community. A Corner in the Marais: Memoir of a Paris Neighborhood will be one book source for these memories and for a little-known history of this area of French life.
