Join Nutrition Educator, Dina Sizemore, as she introduces the children to new foods and a healthy diet with stories, activities, and songs. This program will have a virtual view of the Gulf Gate Children's Garden so that the children can watch the herbs and vegetables go from seed to ripe fruit that will be harvested.

Making healthy food choices is a critical part of living a healthier life. The US Department of Agriculture (USDA) created MyPlate, a food guide, to help people of all ages make better
choices regarding nutrition and physical activity. This lesson introduces MyPlate with a focus on eating a variety of foods from each of the different food groups.
This program is recommended for ages 2 to 6.
This virtual program will be hosted in Zoom.
