Join Nutrition Educator, Dina Sizemore, as she introduces the children to new foods and a healthy diet with stories, activities, and songs. This program will have a virtual view of the Gulf Gate Children's Garden so that the children can watch the herbs and vegetables go from seed to ripe fruit that will be harvested.
This month's theme is Food Safety Keeping food safe to eat is an important part of healthy eating. Teaching the principles of proper handwashing at an early age will help establish safe, lifelong food safety habits. This lesson introduces how and when to wash hands.
Our feature book is Super Soap versus Klaus the Germ.
