Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Meet other coders and work on your coding project. Share with others and troubleshoot as a team. Led by Levi Szantosi whose top picks are Python, Scratch, and Unreal Engine.

Ages 5 and up. Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGOs, you provide the imagination. Creations will be on display in the youth area for one week following the programs.

Join us for a special STEAM activity on the first Wednesday of each month! We'll read books, conduct some experiments and learn all about Earth Day during our April session!

If you like writing your own pieces or would like to grow your creativity, come join us for our Teen Writers Club!  Enhance your writing skills, participate in free-writing exercises and get feedback on written work.

LEGO Club is back! Join us every other Tuesday in the Creation Station to show off your LEGO building talents.  Use the hour to freely build or choose one of our challenge cards for inspiration! Best for ages 5-12.

Watch anime and discuss your favorite characters. Explore anime-inspired, Asian snacks and crafts. Ages 9-18 are welcome!

Want to play chess? Can’t find someone or somewhere to play? 

Open to chess players of all ages and abilities. Chess sets will be provided but you're also welcome to bring your own. 

On the first Thursday of each month, the Old Miakka Schoolhouse hosts a community potluck dinner. Never to disappoint, the Pop-Up brings a dish of new reads and library services!
