Creative movement provides a tangible way for children to experience events in stories. It allows them to step into characters' shoes and try on their superpowers and actions. What a wonderful way to engage young learners in books!

Join us at the Fruitville Library with your knit/crochet projects. All ages and skills are welcome. Supplies and knowledgeable members are on hand to help anyone interested in learning to knit or crochet. 

Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and their families can enjoy loosely structured play with a variety of rotating toys and activities in our Story Time Room.

Children ages 2-8 and their caregivers are invited for Wednesday morning free-play time, with an assortment of toys and props to inspire the young imagination! Drop-in anytime between 10:30am and 11:30am.

Social Emotional Learning made FUN! Imagine a group of kids, smiling and drumming together, dancing with their peers and celebrating drum circles TOGETHER!

Join us the second and fourth Fridays of the month, June-August, for a special craft project. Each session of this casual drop-in program features a simple craft for children and their families to work on together. 

Calling all music and band enthusiasts! Join us as we rock out with some of our favorite instruments and put together the library’s first band. No previous experience required! All instruments will be provided. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
