An Instrument Family Reunion

Get an up-close look at the instruments that make up the four instrument families of the Venice Symphony. Listen and learn about the different characteristics of the Brass, Percussion, String and Woodwind instruments, create your own version of these musical instrument crafts, and more.

The Venice Symphony and Venice Public Library are teaming up to bring you three fun and participatory programs combining:

  • stories about music
  • learning about musical instruments
  • playing instruments
  • making your very own instrument!

So, join Director of Education of the Venice Symphony, Tim Ferguson, and Librarian Anisa for any or all of these three harmonious events!

School-age children and tweens.. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Please register each participant separately. We look forward to seeing you for some musical fun!
