Kick off your spring by exploring popular chord progressions, practicing fluid transitions, and experimenting with a variety of strumming techniques. For adult beginners and intermediate players.

For all your precious trinkets, a cherry tree blossom trinket dish.  As this is a 2-part class, the second half will be a watercolor springtime tree painting.

This meetup is for anyone in the Sarasota area who is interested in all things DIY, hobby electronics, robotics, coding, 3D printing, and more.

Do you need access to a sewing machine for practice? Or do you need help with a sewing or mending project? This is an open lab for adults with sewing machine experience. 

ROAR! is The Ringling's free storytime that connects art with early literacy. At this program, we read together, make art, and learn about an object in the museum.

Take a colorful drawing and shrink it down to be a charm, keychain, jewelry, accessory, or decoration all your own! 

For ages 10-18.

Join other fiber arts enthusiasts on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Creation Station Maker Lab. Bring your crochet, spinning, knitting, or any needle work you enjoy. Note: there is two hour parking limit.

Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGO® bricks, you provide the imagination.

Use a variety of paper and collage materials to make scrapbook pages, greeting cards, and more. Bring your old tickets, receipts, and greeting cards to incorporate them into art.

A harbinger of spring, a nester for you to paint.  As this is a 2-part class, the second half will be a watercolor springtime tree painting.  This is the follow up lesson to the autumn tree watercolor painting that we did this fall.

 Use paper and magazine scraps to make a customized bookmark.

Recommended for ages 9-18.

If registering multiple tweens/teens, please fill out the form for each participating tween/teen.

Join Teresa as she teaches the art of origami. She likes to create items to decorate a home or to give away as a gift. She brings in her own extra work as examples and sometimes to give away.

Learn simple embroidery stitches like the backstitch and the running stitch, and make a fun project with felt! Attending both this session and the April 6 session are not needed, both will feature the same content.

Use 1 of 5 Brother sewing machines on Your Own Project. Must Know How to Sew.  

Machines Available on first come first serve basis.

Add a touch of romance to your yard or party.  All materials provided.  No registration is required.  Seating is limited.  First Come, first seated.
