For mobile babies to 5 years old. Drop in to enjoy a special uninterrupted playtime with your child in our FREE Partners in Play® (PIP) groups. Meet our friendly Parenting Educators and discover how play and learning go hand-in-hand.

For ages 2-5. Join us for story time filled with a variety of early literacy activities that include music, stories, movement, crafts and school readiness. 

For infants to five years, attending with caregiver. The story time includes simple stories, nursery rhymes, songs, fingerplays, and crafts. Space is limited. Free tickets are available at the youth desk beginning at 10 a.m.

Local musicians The Garbage-Men perform musical numbers on their unique homemade recycled instruments.

Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Celebrate the geography and beauty of our diverse planet! We invite young artists and explorers to come together and color world maps that will be displayed in our library for all to see.

Join other teens, ages 13 and up, to make a movie. Write, act, direct, film and edit a short film together in this five-day camp. Registration is required for this program.

Suminigashi is a Japanese printmaking techniques that dates back to the 12th century, and the literal translation is “Floating Ink.” The printmaking techniques will be demonstrated at the beginning of the workshop.

We've got the beat! Create a personalized craft based on your favorite song or band using a decoupage technique.  Then we'll keep the rhythm going with Drums of Unity with Joe Licinski.

Join us the second and fourth Thursdays of the month, June through August, for afternoons full of fun, friends, and LEGO®! We provide the LEGO® bricks, you bring the imagination. 

Create bright and colorful needle felted critters using wool roving. Felted creations can be turned into a pin, a bag charm, or just a fun fuzzy friend.

Join other teens at our monthly Teen Advisory Board Meeting. The Board will discuss topics related to teen library services, teen programs and the teen collections. Attendees will receive community service credit for their time at the meeting.
