Suminigashi is a Japanese printmaking techniques that dates back to the 12th century, and the literal translation is “Floating Ink.” The printmaking techniques will be demonstrated at the beginning of the workshop. Using Suminigashi prints that have been made previously, you will create numerous jewelry pieces. The prints are placed on bezel jewelry trays and covered with cabochon glass.
There will be a variety of styles of jewelry pieces available to create your own necklaces, zipper pulls, and book marks. Step by Step print making directions will be shared should you decide to continue your Suminigashi journey.
Space is limited to 15 participants, so please register to reserve your spot!
