Enjoy special uninterrupted play time with your child in our drop-in FREE Partners In Play® (PIP) parenting education groups.

Learn to knit or crochet! All ages and skill levels welcome! It is recommended to bring your own yarn and needles. Instructor-supplied yarns remain with the instructor weekly until piece is completed.

Students who attend Part 1 will continue to research their family history on the second day in Part 2 during which the class instructor is available to answer questions and help the students in their research. Basic computer skills are required.

Self-guided time in the Creation Station. use our Adobe/ Mac software, sewing machines, craft supplies and more for your own personal projects.

Get into the adult coloring craze ! Join us for a fun and unique way to unwind, reduce stress, and express your creativity at the Shannon Staub Library. All supplies will be provided. Artistic talent is not required. Refreshments are included.

Engage babies newborn to 18 months with movement to music, singing, rhymes and basic sign language to enhance social interaction and language development. Playtime follows.

Teens in grades 6 through 12 are welcome to hang out, play games, and more.

Come create, play, or just relax at the library after school.  Our Teen Room is open from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Drop in to get assistance with and ask questions about downloading library books to your computer and other devices, such as the Kindle, Nook, iPad, iPod, iPhone and Android phones and tablets.

After learning computer basics, the student is ready to learn File Management. The basics of file creating and organizing will be demonstrated.

Learn to play America's most popular role playing game at the library.  Snacks are available through our afterschool program.  Participation is limited to grades 6 - 12.

Wanna learn how to Cube or do you know how to? Drop in and meet with our Teen Volunteer to learn and play.

Join us the third Wednesday of every month to learn about gardening and the environment. Experience a deeper enjoyment of our library’s Reading Garden through crafts, experiments, interactive activities and more.

Come to the Teen Center for these activities:

Join us for a fun and relaxing meeting. All stitch types are welcome: sewing, quilting, embroidery, crochet and knitting to name a few. Bring your current project or questions and we'll share and work together. Open to all ages.

Children are invited to read with certified pet therapy dogs.  This program encourages conversation and develops reading and communication skills. The dogs love the attention and the kids love the interactions.

Draw in a relaxing environment with friends. Snacks are provided! 

Join us to learn about and practice using all the cool things a Google/Gmail account allows you to do. This class is aimed at the Medium to Advanced User. It's also primarily for those with Android devices or Windows 10 computers.

For ages 11-18.  Join the Teen Advisory Board (T.A.B.) and share ideas for upcoming library programs for teens.

Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGOs, you provide the imagination.

For ages 4 and up.

Monthly discussion of the Evening Book Club. Book discussion schedules are available at by the front circulation desk at the Jacaranda Public Library.
