Strings and other Musical Things
A hands-ons and interactive experience learning about the string family. Participants will get a chance to discover the basics of string instruments, hear musical demonstrations from Venice Symphony Youth Orchestra musicians and actually learn to play on ukuleles!
The Venice Symphony and Venice Public Library are teaming up to bring you three fun and participatory programs combining:
- stories about music
- learning about musical instruments
- playing instruments
- making your very own instrument!
So, join Director of Education of the Venice Symphony, Tim Ferguson, and Librarian Anisa for any or all of these three harmonious events!
School-age children and tweens.. Children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult. Please register each participant separately. We look forward to seeing you for some musical fun!
