Program Description
Teens will select issues of importance to them and help create a list of contemporary works which explore the issues they select. One issue will be discussed each month. Between each program teens can choose to read one of the suggested books for the next meeting or one of their own choosing. Teens will give a brief book talk about the book they read, including how it relates to the issue. An open discussion of the issue will follow. Resources will be provided for all issues selected and discussed as well as others as requested or that seem relevant.
