Details
Improve your posture, balance, focus and general well-being with tai chi. This class offers instruction on a simplified Yang style short form, for adults of all abilities.
Instructor Cathay Keough has over 7 years of tai chi training from various instructors in Maryland and Delaware. Her teachers include Kevin Sun and Bryan Davis, for traditional Chinese methods and positions.
Classes are developed to provide insight to tai chi's history, pose/posture development and awareness, breathing techniques along with repeated practice.
Wear comfortable clothes and shoes (no heels or flip flops, please).
This program is generously funded by the Friends of the North Port Library and is part of North Port Library's Healthy Living Initiative.
