Baila Miller Presents - - John James Audubon: The Birds of America

Lecturer, Baila Miller will explore the life and art of John James Audubon (1785-1851). Audubon was an American ornithologist, naturalist, illustrator, and environmentalist. He is notable for his expansive studies that document many types of indigenous American animals. His major work, a color-plate book entitled “The Birds of America” includes 435 magnificent images. He devoted 14 years of his life to this venture.  

In celebration of Earth Day 2022 (Friday, April 22, 2022), come learn about John James Audubon and his beautiful works of America's birds.
