Tickets are still available in person! Registration is closed, but you may still drop by this morning, as we have remaining free tickets to meet our capacity of 150 attendees. Please line up in front of the library by 10 a.m. to pick up free tickets or to check in if you have previously registered for the program. Remaining free tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis. Doors will close at program start. Thank you, and see you soon!

Giving Tree Music provides drums to participants for active guided playing as they learn about the history and cultural importance of African music and drumming circles. Families and all ages enjoy  beating the drums together with traditional rhythms in a big circle. Individuals are periodically  invited to join the instructor in leading special short rhythm sequences for the group to imitate, which is a favorite activity among children.
