Program Description
This class is designed for anyone who has the desire to learn to create beautiful lettering. No previous experience is required.
The student will work on both upper and lower case lettering and then learn layout so that he/she will be able to leave the class with a beautiful illuminated-type proverb, saying, etc.
Supplies
Attendees must purchase and bring their own Calligraphy pens, available at local hobby shops and online. Ideally, the set will include a fine tip and a broad tip.
Please note that the marker style tips are not ideal for this class and may provide different results than desired in class.
Instruction booklet will be provided.
About the series:
This is a four week series, and each week builds on previous lessons. As a result, attendance at the first class is required.
Wednesdays at 2 p.m.: June 8, 15, 22 and 29
