February 19 – Scott Kluksdahl, cello, Gregorios Zamparas, piano, ‘Late Beethoven and Nordic Fire’

Beethoven’s fourth and fifth cello sonatas were composed simultaneously and were the only works he composed in 1815. Edvard Grieg composed his Cello Sonata in 1882. It is one of only five chamber works composed by the Norwegian master. Cellist Scott Kluksdahl has performed for nearly four decades as chamber musician, recitalist and soloist in the United States, Europe, Israel, and The Americas. Pianist Grigorios Zamparas has received critical acclaim for his versatile performing career as recitalist, orchestra soloist and chamber musician. US. Newport Daily News called him “…sensational!
