In 2019, John Green met Henry Reider, a young patient with a bright smile at a hospital in Sierra Leone. Their friendship opened Green’s eyes to the barriers that keep people from getting care for this curable disease. Henry’s story is shared alongside the history of tuberculosis and the choices that continue to shape its impact today.
