Unleash your creativity and dive into the fascinating world of paper circuits with instructor, Irina Rymshina. Participants will explore STEM concepts while creating  a fun "DIY Flashlight Bookmark". 

Participants will create collaged images for a community mural. Each person will be able to take their piece of the heart home after a picture of the whole mural has been taken.

Join us for a calming and therapeutic coloring session where you can unleash your creativity and unwind. 

Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Calling all tween and teen kitchen curious kids, up to age 17! We are excited to offer a family nutrition program from the University of Florida. This program contains a curriculum created to help kids develop a love of cooking!

Sewing in a zipper doesn't have to be difficult! Learn an easy way to make a small zipper pouch that can hold your coins, pencils, makeup or whatever you might need to for your summer adventures. 

Explore the wild world of virtual reality through some of our favorite games that take us as far as the oceans’ depths and more! Whether sitting or standing, you’ll be transported to worlds beyond our own.

Teens will have the opportunity to make a variety of items during the summer ranging from woodcrafts to 3D string art to resin projects. Each week will feature a different project as listed below.

Watch anime and discuss your favorite characters. Explore anime-inspired, Asian snacks and crafts. Ages 9-18 are welcome!

Join us for the Monthly Creation Station Wood Craft. Each month, attendees will assemble and paint an item themed for the month. Advance registration is required due to limited seats. This is a Friends of the Gulf Gate Library sponsored event.
