Gamers unite for two hours of social fun where a different Role Playing tabletop game/campaign will be featured every week. From classic multiplayer RPG games like Dungeons & Dragons to Indie games like Wanderlust and Teatime Adventures.

Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and their families can enjoy loosely structured play with a variety of rotating toys and activities in our Story Time Room.

Children ages 2-8 and their caregivers are invited for Wednesday morning free-play time, with an assortment of toys and props to inspire the young imagination! Drop-in anytime between 10:30am and 11:30am.

The Socrates Cafe is a discussion group in which everyone is welcome! Feel free to join in and propose topics that interest you. We vote on the topic and then take turns offering viewpoints and questions.

A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to help people learn practical strategies to manage falls and increase physical activity levels. 

Participants will learn:

What is tropical, relaxing, and associated with white beaches and gorgeous sunsets (besides drinks with umbrellas)? Palms, of course!

Have an empty notebook but not sure what to do with it? Journal Club is an open, no-pressure opportunity for teens to get together and write, junk journal, draw, and decompress with one another with as much creativity and flair as they wish.

Come join fellow Anime and Comics enthusiasts in discussions about our favorite shows, comics & Manga! 

For new adults (18-30 years old).

Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGO® bricks, you provide the imagination.

Come and socialize with fellow knitting, crocheting and sewing enthusiasts! All levels welcome. Bring your current project to work on.

Calling all readers: our dog friends from the Suncoast Humane Society are returning to the Jacaranda Library, and they want you to read to them!
