Join us for this special edition of Tinker Tuesday with Alia as kids learn that the sun is an energy source in the form of heat and light. They will directly observe an example of how the heat can be captured and used for cooking, through making s’mores in a solar oven.
Stop by the Youth Desk to get a ticket the day of the program. Space is limited to 12 participants.
Ages 6+.
This is part of our One Book One Community programming this year as we celebrate the biography "The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind" by William Kamkwamba.
