Program Description

Details

Come explore the different options in our Open Lab using self-guided time in the Creation Station. Available equipment includes Cricut Air Explore 2, 3D printing, sewing machines, button makers and more. Bring your own projects for development, prototyping, and production, or start something new working hands-on with our Creation Station equipment. A library staff member will be available to answer questions and assist with equipment setup.

Items are used on a first-come-first-serve basis. Projects for 3D printing will be processed in the order received, and we will contact when the item is ready for pickup.

A variety of arts and crafts projects for ages 5 and up are also provided.

In March, enjoy a special One Book-themed craft project. Venture into the medieval world of the first bookmakers and their illuminated manuscripts. Illuminated manuscripts are handwritten books with painted decoration, often using precious metals.  Make your own illuminated initials using aluminum, gold and color to decorate your home or home-made book in luxurious style.
