Program Description

Details

Take a step into the past with an old-fashioned drive-in movie.  Bring your own snacks and tune into the sound through your car's FM radio.  We ask that everyone remains in their vehicles throughout the show to maintain social distance.

The movie will be shown at Dearborn Plaza, 300 W. Dearborn Street. Follow the signs for parking.

"Patrick Smith, Pulitzer Prize nominated Florida writer, takes the viewer off the tourist path to learn about a 'Florida Cracker' heritage upon which his novel, A Land Remembered is based. Smith provides a sample of Florida in the 1930's and a rare glimpse into the mind of a writer whose work preserves Florida as it once was and will never be again." (From the publisher)  The run time of the film is 56 minutes.

Please arrive on time to allow for parking and adjusting your radio.  Taller vehicles are asked to park towards the rear in consideration of others.  The film will begin promptly at 6:30 p.m.  Restrooms are available.
