An untapped resource for you: local, ethnic, public and private resource centers are easy to find on the internet.  Some have on-line resources, some do not.  Learn a strategy to get the most with the least effort.  With numerous examples from several states, metropolitan and rural, using a handout list of over 125 one-of-a-kind materials, we will try and answer your questions.

Peg is a past president of Tinley Moraine Genealogists in Illinois.  In the past eleven years she has provided over 85 talks on history and genealogy topics to 33 different organizations both nationally and internationally.  She is the author of one book and thirty-six research articles.  She has served as President or on the Boards of Directors of 11 different professional or historical/genealogical organizations, both in the United States and internationally and currently volunteers for four historical/genealogical organizations.
