Check out a Person!  Featuring Carlos Goebels, ESL (English as a Second Language) and art therapy teacher.

Carlos currently volunteers for the Literacy Council of Sarasota and teaches weekly Intermediate/Advanced Conversational English classes at the North Sarasota Library.  During the past 20 years, Carlos has taught students from over 25 countries.

He also teaches Art as Therapy classes at AVIVA, a campus for senior life in Sarasota. He has taught art in therapeutic settings for people with autism, intellectual disabilities, mental illness (depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD), and other diseases.
