AARP Tax Assistance

AARP is providing free tax preparation at the Shannon Staub Library again this year. The tax returns will be prepared by IRS-certified tax counselors.

The AARP Tax-Aide Tax Preparation Program will begin on Friday February 4, 2021.  Tax preparation hours will be from 10:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Monday and Friday, thru Monday April 18th.

This year taxes will be prepared on an appointment-only basis.

Appointments cannot be made by telephone.

Counselors will be available at the Library on the following January 2022 dates to make appointments and distribute Intake booklets and any forms requiring taxpayer input:

Mondays - January 10^th, 24^th & 31^st from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fridays - January 14^th, 21^st & 28^th from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Appointments can also be made, in-person, starting Friday, February 4^th, and each Monday and Friday thereafter from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
