AARP Free Tax Help

AARP is providing free tax help. Due to Covid-19 restrictions and concerns, ALL taxpayers are required to make an appointment to have their documents dropped off. There will be no client/counselor face-to-face tax preparation; tax preparation will be done virtually by certified counselors. Upon completion, a counselor will call you to review the return by phone and make arrangements for the paperwork to be picked up.

Intake booklets and Virtual Consent forms will be sent via email for completion. If you are unable to obtain these items, please visit either the North Port Library or the Shannon Staub Library, or come 30 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time.

It is requested that taxpayers bring photo ID, their Social Security card (or SSA 1099), and documentation to support their income and deductions.
