American Popular music lecturer and vocalist Dick Smolens presents a three part series "Young Bing and Frank." Two great singers who influenced vocalists in the 20th century. We'll hear and see how they developed; both as members of male singing groups (The Rhythm Boys and The Hoboken Four), to become iconic figures interpreting The American Popular Songbook on radio, records, movies and TV. We'll sample their initial efforts through vintage sound film.
