Memory Lab
Note: This room is currently NOT available for request.
The Memory Lab is a do-it-yourself space for digitizing and preserving family documents, photographs, film, audio recordings, and older digital media such as floppy disks, CDs, and DVDs. Digitized files can be saved to a storage method of your choice and shared with family and friends.
Patrons may request up to two appointments per calendar week. A separate request form is required for each appointment, even if appointments are scheduled back to back, to ensure accurate scheduling.
During your first visit, staff will provide training on the equipment needed for your project. Training is limited to one media type per visit.
The Memory Lab is available to adults ages 18 and older, or youth patrons accompanied by an adult.
Patrons must bring their own external hard drive, USB drive, cloud storage account, or other storage method.
