Join the Venice Area Audubon Society for an exciting birdwatching program at our library! Discover the incredible variety of bird species that inhabit our area and learn how to identify them by their unique calls and traits.

All ages. Move and dance to the music with DJ Jamaal Day. Put on funny props and pose in the free photo booth. 

Space is limited. First come, first served. Please come to the Youth Desk and get your stickets, starting at 1pm.

Using our button maker machine, you'll have the opportunity to design and create your very own one-of-a-kind buttons. Express yourself, show off your artistic skills, or make a statement - the possibilities are endless!

In this exciting summer kickoff event, we will unmask super hero powers that we read about and see in the movies with exciting interactive demonstrations. Be amazed as minds are read, electricity is controlled, and magnetism is contained.

Jeffrey Shuster is a graduate of UCF with a MFA in creative writing. He will guide participants on how to write engaging adventure fiction. 

If you like watching Anime and are  interested in trying Japanese snacks, then join us every first Monday of the month from 4-5:30.

If you like writing your own pieces or would like to branch out and grow your creativity, come join us for our Teen Writers Club! We will be meeting weekly on Mondays @ 4 p.m. Ages 11-18 welcome!

Watch anime and discuss your favorite characters. Explore anime-inspired, Asian snacks and crafts. Ages 9-18 are welcome!
