Cooking Matters for Chefs and Kids uses flexible hands-on lessons to develop a love for cooking and the skills to make healthy food choices. Lessons include meal planning tips, activities, handouts, recipes, and food tastings. 

Bring your projects, patterns, and questions to Elsie Quirk Library and join the Quirky Knitters for an afternoon of knitting and crochet.  All skill levels welcome.  Registration is not required, so come on in to knit and chat!

Interested in your family's genealogy but don't know where to start?

Children easily create colorful pictures, animal masks, and bookmarks which appear when the magic black-coated paper is scratched with a stylus.

Artsy Tessy from The Artful Giraffe will demonstrate how to work with liquid resin and then teens will create a custom art piece to take home. Advance sign up is required due to limited space.

Calling all young scientists! At this weekly club you can do some fun science-related crafts and learn more about science. Space is limited, so please see the youth desk 30 minutes prior to the event for a ticket.

For the summer we will be watching a movie after discussing a book for content, characters and themes. This month's book is Smarter Than Squirrels by Lucy Nolan. Attendees will choose the movie the day of the program.

Read for at least 10 minutes in our "lounge" and enjoy a sweet treat as a reward. For ages 6+.

Ages 11-18 will have time to collaborate and play Wii U together on our big screen. We will also have board games and chess available for those who wish to play something else. Limit 20
