Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and their families can enjoy loosely structured play with a variety of rotating toys and activities in our Story Time Room.

Children ages 2-8 and their caregivers are invited for Wednesday morning free-play time, with an assortment of toys and props to inspire the young imagination! Drop-in anytime between 10:30am and 11:30am.

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County, Health in Motion staff will be on-site to provide no-cost health screenings and referrals for general health and wellness.

Explore your creativity in nature with a hungry caterpillar. Here you'll use nature's natural creations to create your own unique work of art.

KIDS, START YOUR ENGINES! Build looping, twisting tracks for Hot Wheels® cars, and experiment with Newton's laws of motion in this fun hands-on event that combines STEM learning with classic play.

Join us for an enjoyable craft session in the Veranda Room at the North Port Public Library! It will be a fun time of learning and building new crafting skills.

Please join us in this fun and informative class about photographing nature. Professional photographer, Brian Glantz, will demonstrate tried and true techniques to make your nature photographs look great!

Join us for songs, rhymes, play, and of course great stories! Engage kids in visual literacy, language development, and social skills in a fun class presented by our Youth Services team.

Learn how to create a blue Cyanotype print using photosensitive chemicals and found objects on a fabric pencil case. No camera needed, just sunlight!
