Join Miss Taylor for a special Play & Learn Storytime! Each storytime will feature books and songs as well as play time at the end.

As the Sarasota County Veteran’s Services Outreach Officer,  Aretha Gipson will provide an overview of VA benefits available to veterans and their families.

Preschoolers, kindergarteners, and their families can enjoy loosely structured play with a variety of rotating toys and activities in our Story Time Room.

Children ages 2-8 and their caregivers are invited for Wednesday morning free-play time, with an assortment of toys and props to inspire the young imagination! Drop-in anytime between 10:30am and 11:30am.

The Socrates Cafe is a discussion group in which everyone is welcome! Feel free to join in and propose topics that interest you. We vote on the topic and then take turns offering viewpoints and questions.

Do you need access to a sewing machine for practice? Or do you need help with a sewing or mending project? This is an open lab for adults with sewing machine experience.

A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to help people learn practical strategies to manage falls and increase physical activity levels.

Check out our monthly Creation Station Crafts! Each month, experiment with a different piece of equipment in the Creation Station.

Children are invited for a special opportunity to share a story with a furry friend! Take advantage of this no-pressure, judgment-free zone to practice reading with a certified therapy dog.  Space is limited. First come, first seated.

Learn about Florida-friendly trees that thrive in the Suncoast region of Florida. 

Participants will receive a native tree (one/household).

Hang out as you please and play a variety of board games, video games, and card games with your friends! All games will be provided. Ages 11-18 only.

Join other fiber arts enthusiasts on Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Creation Station Maker Lab. Bring your crochet, spinning, knitting, or any needle work you enjoy. Note: there is two hour parking limit.

Work on your own creations or build as a team. We provide the LEGO® bricks, you provide the imagination.
