Featured in this presentation will be the documentary WEDU produced several years ago, Venice, Florida; Looking Forward by Looking Back. The popular host of Gulf Coast Journal, Jack Perkins is the narrator of this video gem.

Celebrating its 60th Anniversary, WEDU PBS is the PBS station serving Venice and all of Sarasota county, along with 14 additional counties in West Central Florida. WEDU provides programs that educate, enlighten, and entertain more than 5 million viewers in West Central Florida.

WEDU PBS was one of the first stations in the country to broadcast over 6 channels; the Florida Channel, World Channel, CreateTV, WEDU, WEDQ and PBS KIDS. Video clips of recent and upcoming programs will be included in this presentation.
