Program Description

Details

Surrealism was a cultural movement that began in the early 1920s and is best represented in literature, art and photography. Surrealist artists painted unnerving, illogical scenes with photographic precision to express their unconscious thoughts. Artists Magritte, Miro, Dali and others will be discussed.

This is the final summer lecture given by Baila Miller at Venice Library.
