Program Description
Presented by Kathryn Chesley, who will portray Pearl Whitfield, whose husband, John Whitfield, a wealthy Alabama industrialist, was the principal backer for development of the Whitfield Estates. Pearl, will help us uncover the history of the development and growth of 50 years of Sarasota from 1910 – 1960.
