April is National Poetry Month! Join us for a poetry reading with Irene Herman from her book, "Poems from Covid," which was written as a way to engage her creative side amidst the social isolation of the pandemic. Irene began writing poetry as part of a Poetry Circle with the Senior Friendship Center of Sarasota using features of her everyday life to fuel her new creative outlet, and she hopes that sharing her poems will inspire others to expand their creative horizons and try new things, regardless of age or experience.
