Arts Alliance Playreaders Presents “Remarkably Bright Creatures”

Come enjoy this theatrical presentation from this year’s One Book selection “Remarkably Bright Creatures”: After Tova Sullivan’s husband dies, she begins working the night shift at an Aquarium, where she becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a Giant Pacific Octopus. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight tentacles for his human captors—until he forms an unlikely friendship with Tova.

This event is offered as part of the One Book Sarasota programming, which chose “Remarkably Bright Creatures” by   Shelby Van Pelt as its 2025 selection.
