Program Description

Discuss books that empower people to spread ideals and resist oppression. Grace Korley who holds a Bachelor’s in Literature and is committed to local activism for equality will lead brief discussions on the following titles during this session:

The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

Orlando by Virginia Woolf

The Master and Margarita by Mikhail Bulgakov.

All titles are available via Hoopla, an electronic resource you can access with your Sarasota County Library card. Go to your App or Play store to download “Hoopla” and follow the prompts to find yourself reading these books!

Feel free to join if you have not read the books and would like to learn more about them.
