Sarasota County Libraries and the History Center will be closed on Monday, Feb. 15.
We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
Fruitville Library CLOSED Dec. 18, 2025-July 19, 2026
Renovations and expansion building works will be happening at Fruitville Library, which will require Fruitville Library to temporarily close on Dec. 18. The reimagined library is scheduled to reopen in July 2026.
