This take home program is a spin on an annual Gulf Gate program. Families will pick up one live Southern Red Cedar tree, as well as one bag full of trimmings and nature friendly decorations for both your families and feathered friends to enjoy. Stop by our children's garden anytime between 2 - 4 p.m. to choose and pick up your tree.
This program is for children and their families - at least one adult over 18 and one child under 18. Space is limited and registration is required. One registration per family, and one tree per family.
Please contact the Youth Services Desk if you or someone in your family has a peanut allergy. The bag of trimmings and decorations typically contains peanut butter and raw unshelled peanuts
If you cannot pick up a tree during the designated time, please let us know by calling the Youth Services Desk at 941-861-1241.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Gulf Gate Library.
If you prefer decorating your tree at the library, please register for Holiday for the Birds (In-Person) earlier in the day instead.
