"An Illustrated History of the Postcard in Florida" presented by Liz Coursen a Sarasota award-winning author and editor. Join us as Liz Coursen takes us on a "Illustrated History of Postcards in Florida.", First restricted by size, color, and other regulations, postcard production blossomed in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Postcards were popular because they were a quick and easy way for individuals to communicate with each other. Today deltiology, or the collection of postcards, is a popular hobby.
