Embark on a captivating journey through the vibrant world of parrots, exploring the fascinating contrasts between the parrots of the Old World and the New World. Dive deep into their distinct habitats, behaviors, appearances, and communication styles. Our presenter will also teach how to care for and handle pet parrots.

Live parrots will be present to enhance the presentation. Birds will be for view and appreciation only.  If you have multiple people attending, please remember to register each person individually.

This program is part of the One Book One Community program, which chose “An Immense World: How Animal Senses Reveal the Hidden Realms Around Us” by Pulitzer Prize-winning Ed Yong as the 2024 selection.
