The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Grand Book Sale on Saturday kicks off the celebration of Black History Month.
Sponsored by the Friends of the Library, this sale, from 10:00-4:00 in the library lobby, includes a plethora of culture-filled books on Dr. King, Africa and African American History
Novels, mysteries and children’s books will also abound. In addition, cultural objects of art and jewelry from Kenya, South Africa and around the continent will be displayed and for sale as well.
Attendees will receive 50% off all sale books.
The Friends Bookstore, will be open the entire day, welcoming shoppers to explore the wide variety of low-cost books for sale and peruse our creative displays of art, crafts and decor.
