Details

Lounge on mats and cushions as you stargaze in the inflatable dome. Space is limited for each show. Free tickets will be available at the youth desk 30 minutes before the start of each show. A limited number of chairs will be available upon request. 

10:30-10:50 a.m.: Mayan Archaeoastronomy: Enjoy a colorful show about how the stars influenced Mayan mythology. Recommended for first grade and up.

11-11:30 a.m.: Journey to the Center of the Milky Way, Losing the Dark, and NASA Journey to Mars. Recommended for third grade and up.

12-12:35 p.m.: From Earth to the Universe: Learn about telescopes, the planets and more. Recommended for first grade and up.

12:45-1:45 p.m.: Dark Matter: Explore in-depth concepts about astrophysics. Recommended for teens and adults.

4-5 p.m.: Distant Worlds and Alien Life: Learn about biological needs and how various planets may support life. Recommended for fifth grade and up.

5:15-5:45 p.m.: Seeing: Delve into concepts regarding light waves and the detection of other wavelength forms that give scientists clues. Teens and adults.

6-6:20 p.m.: Mayan Archaeoastronomy: Enjoy a colorful show about how the stars influenced Mayan mythology. Recommended for first grade and up.

6:30-7:05 p.m.: From Earth to the Universe: Learn about telescopes, the planets, and more. Recommended for first grade and up.

7:15-7:35 p.m.: Dark Matter: Explore in-depth concepts about astrophysics. Recommended for teens and adults.
