Program Description
Details
Suminigashi is a Japanese printmaking technique that dates back to the 12th century. The literal translation is “Floating Ink”. The printmaking technique will be demonstrated at the beginning of the workshop. Using Suminigashi prints that have been made previously, you will create numerous jewelry pieces. The prints are placed on bezel jewelry trays and covered with cabochon glass. There will be a variety of styles of jewelry pieces available to create your own necklaces, zipper pulls, and bookmarks. Step by step print making directions will be shared should you decide to continue your Suminigashi journey. Registration is required for this adult program.
Please be aware of the two-hour parking limit in this area! Longer parking limits are available in the upper levels of the Whole Foods City Garage on 2nd. St.
