Join us on Zoom for a book discussion, with a side of culinary advice!  The book discussion will start at 3 p.m. followed by culinary Q & A.

Spending a few months on the Scottish Isle of Jura, in the cottage where George Orwell wrote most of "1984", Ray Welter, a former advertising executive, finds himself way of his element when the eccentric locals, who believe there is a werewolf about, don't take kindly to a foreigner in their midst.  This is a darkly comic debut novel about advertising, truth, single malt, Scottish hospitality - or lack thereof - and George Orwell's "1984".
