Program Description
This neuroscience-research based workshop dispels outdated myths about the brain and brain function, specifically through the foundational concept of neuroplasticity. This workshop describes new and exciting brain activation alternatives to crossword puzzles. Participants learn how the nervous system functions; including the anatomy of the brain and the main functions of each part, the different types of fuel necessary for optimized performance, and novel ways to activate areas of the brain responsible for memory.
